What size collar should I choose for my cat?
Red Dingo cat collars are available in one size for adult cats and one size for kittens. Adult collars are suitable for cats 6+ months. Both our cat and kitten collars are length adjustable and will fit all cats.
Can I use a kitten collar on my cat?
It is important to use the correct collar on your cat. Our kitten collars are only suitable for lightweight kittens up to the age of 6 months.
What are these collars made from?
Our cat collars are made from our super-soft premium nylon webbing.
What is a Fish-Clip?
Our Fish-Clip is a safety-release (breakaway) clip in the shape of a fish. Our kitten breakaway collars are designed to release at 0.5kg, and our cat breakaway collars will release at 2kg. A safety-release collar keeps cats safe by release if they get caught on branches or fences.
How do I undo the cat collar?
To undo our safety-release cat collars, simply pull apart the clip. There are no prongs to press on the side of the clip.
Why is there a bell on your cat collars?
Some cats like to hunt birds or other wildlife. Our bell is a warning device to keep wildlife safe. The bell is removable from the collar.
Red Dingo nylon products are machine washable (max. 40°C/104°F). We recommend using a wash bag. Airdry only. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not iron.
